Espanol and the Doctor
I went to the doctor at 9:00 yesterday morning and I told him I was trying to learn Spanish. He asked if I knew any medical terms yet. Surprisingly I did know some. So I told him, "Me duele mi pie." He was quite impressed that I actually knew something in Spanish. But actually I wasn't even sure if I said it right...either way it worked out.

Lo ciento por tu pie. I hope that it gets better. That's great that you could talk to him in Spanish, even if only a little bit! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteIf your foot hurt that was the perfect thing to say. However, if you were suffering from a stomach ache things might have turned out differently! :D
