Mexican Independance Day

I was reading earlier about the Mexican Independance Day that is celebrated on the 16th of September every year and the types of activities that they do on that day. It was pretty interesting to read about. This year they celebrated 200 years of Independance from Spanish rule. También celebró 100 años de su revolución. That revolution started in 1910 when they took down Porfirio Diaz.

  1. Thanks for the info, I'm looking forward to researching this holiday. The only other Mexican holidays I know about are the day of the dead and Cinqo de Mayo. Wonder what else they celebrate?

  2. Now the web-sam festival subject makes sense. I didn't know about any other independence festivals other than cinco de mayo. That's cool.
